Creative Australia has announced the recipients of the 2024 Partnership Awards, celebrating leadership and advocacy across philanthropy, business and the arts.

The Arts Leadership Award was presented to Troy Casey and Amanda Hayman for their “exceptional contribution to promoting [an] investment into Australian cultural life”.

Based in Brisbane, Casey (a Kamilaroi man) and Hayman (a Kalkadoon/Wakka Wakka woman) are the co-founders of design agency Blaklash and Aboriginal Art Co, and recent co-directors and owner of clothing company Magpie Goose.

The Philanthropy Leadership Award was given to two recipients. Canberra-based arts writer Meredith Hinchliffe was recognised for her support of cultural institutions including the National Museum of Australia, the National Library of Australia and the National Gallery of Australia.

The James & Diana Ramsay Foundation was also recognised for its support of the arts sector. It has funded in excess of $20 million to 220 projects, including grants to South Australian-based organisations like Restless Dance Theatre, Illuminate Adelaide and Adelaide Youth Orchestras.
