Musical theatre star Cynthia Erivo will star in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Dracula as it makes its West End debut in February 2026, with Michael Cassel and Adam Kenwright as co-producers.

Dracula is the third and final work in director and former STC Artistic Director Kip Williams’ Gothic trilogy, which also includes the smash success The Picture of Dorian Gray and Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. After Dorian Gray‘s West End and Broadway runs, it’s also the second to reach international stages.

All three feature innovative and extensive use of both live and prerecorded videography. In Dracula, the lead performer takes on all 23 roles.

The roles in Dracula were originated by Zahra Newman, who also serves as the work’s dramaturg.
