Griffin Theatre Company has announced its 2026 season, unveiling a program of new Australian works and revivals that will mark its final year operating away from its SBW Stables Theatre home, which is currently being renovated and expected to reopen for business for Season 2027.
The lineup features five mainstage productions, two works under its Griffin Lookout program for independent theatre makers, and performances from 14 actors including Simon Burke, Zahra Newman and Miranda Tapsell.
“In our final season before we return to the Stables, we’re returning to what makes Griffin … well, Griffin,” said Artistic Director Declan Greene.
“This year we are zooming in on moments of heartbreak, catastrophe, joy.”
