French-Canadian director Robert Lepage and Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov are rumoured to be collaborating on an opera adaptation of A Brief History of Time, British physicist Stephen Hawking’s landmark 1998 tome about life, the universe and everything. Argentinian author Alberto Manguel dropped the news that he had been approached to pen the opera, although his claim is yet to be confirmed.
