The Australian dates have been announced for next year’s production of Les Misérables – The Arena Tour.

The massive production, starring Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly as Valjean, and Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden as his nemesis Javert, will play Sydney’s ICC Theatre from 30 April; Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena from 14 May and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre from 28 May.

The Arena Tour then heads to Japan, Taiwan, China, and several other Asian countries before it returns to Europe. Plans are afoot to send the show onwards to dates in the United States and Canada.

Staged on a set specifically created for large venues (designed by Matt Kinley, Paule Constable, Warren Letton and Finn Ross), the show features a cast and orchestra of over 65 players, many of whom have played roles in previous productions.
