Opera Australia has today (15 August) announced the addition of two prominent figures in the arts and music to its Board of Directors. Australian soprano and psychologist Greta Bradman has been appointed to the board, following the earlier appointment of Professor Warren Bebbington, academic and musician.
Bradman, well-known and regarded for her contributions as a recording artist and her work in psychology, brings a wealth of experience to the board. Bradman also offers a unique perspective on the link between wellbeing and performance among artists. Her extensive background includes roles as an ABC broadcaster, writer, and Trustee of the Arts Centre Melbourne.

Prior to stepping back from singing at the end of 2019, Bradman released four solo albums; two with Sony Music and two with Universal Music (Decca), as well as contributing to various other albums. ARIA nominated, she was Limelight Magazine’s Australian Artist of the Year in 2015 and the 2013 winner of the Australian International Opera Award, enabling her to further her singing studies in the UK.
