Create NSW has announced the 17 productions that have received funding under the Regional Arts Touring 2023/24 fund.

Sharing a pool of almost $1.2 million, the touring projects are set to hit 59 different regional communities across the state, and engage over 100,000 regional residents.

Earlier today, Create NSW also announced the recipients of its second round of 2023-24 Arts and Cultural Funding program.

For Percussion Australia, the funding will support Synergy Percussion to present a Regional Outreach Tour from that will span Armidale, Bathurst, Coonabarabran, Dubbo, Grafton Orange and Port Macquarie.

Following its 2023 Big West Tour, Sydney Youth Orchestras will receive funding to present its The Big Sky Tour, a series of accessible, interactive concerts with stops in Bathurst, Bourke, Broken Hill, Cobar, Dubbo, Millthorpe and Wilcannia.

A touring program comprising concerts, workshops and local collaboration presented by the 13-piece Mara! Big Band has also been selected for support, as has jazz pianist Andrea Keller, who will embark on a six-venue regional tour and workshop program, Keys to Creativity.
