APRA AMCOS and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers have today revealed the nominees for the 2024 Screen Music Awards.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted at Melbourne’s Forum on 29 October and introduces three new categories into the mix: Best Music for a Video Game or Other Interactive Media, Emerging Screen Composer of the Year, and Best Music for Unscripted & Reality Television.
The award for Best Music for a Television Series has also been newly divided into two categories, awarding composers for their contribution to Television Comedy and Television Drama separately.

In the running for the Feature Film Score of the Year is Jed Kurzel for Dev Patel’s Monkey Man, Sean Peter for Plan Bea, Stefan Gregory for The Rooster and Michael Lira for Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp.
