Western Sydney is soon to have its own $100 million dollar performing arts centre and multi-use entertainment space in the next few years. Located in Rooty Hill, the Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre is completely funded and underwritten by the Rooty Hill RSL. It is hoped that the new 2000-seat venue will host a variety of international and homegrown stage shows, musicals, concerts, ballet companies and symphony orchestras.

“A project of this size has never been undertaken before on this side of the bridge and excitement is already growing,” said CEO of WSPAC Richard Errington, who is heading the development. “The time has come for Western Sydney to have its own cultural icon.”

“We have brought together a team of leading architects, designers and engineers across the country to develop the vision for this world-class venue unlike anything else in Western Sydney. We can’t wait to share it with the community and watch it become a thriving hub for arts, culture and entertainment.”
