Do you love your Bach and Stravinsky as much as you love a good turn of phrase? Then enter the Limelight Search for a Critic competition for your chance to join our team of classical CD reviewers.
Candidates should be voracious collectors of classical music who listen widely and have a strong knowledge of the catalogue, artists and labels. They should be able to communicate clearly the history of a piece of music or composer and describe performances with accuracy and literary flair… All within a tight wordcount!
How to enter:
Listen to to Mikhail Simonyan’s new disc Two Souls on Deutsche Grammophon and submit a 250-word review to editors@limelight-arts.com.au with “Review” in the subject line. All the information you need about the album is available here.
Deadline: February 15, 2012
Wordcount: 250 words
Our editorial and review team will select the best review. The winning entrant will be published in Limelight and invited to review classical CDs and DVDs for us on a regular basis.
We look forward to reading your reviews. Good luck, and happy listening!
