Since its inception in 2019, the Orange Chamber Music Festival has offered an annual feast of performances by Australian and international artists and ensembles – all in the early autumnal beauty of gracious Orange.

In 2027, Limelight is the Festival’s official media partner, and thanks to this collaboration we are delighted to offer an insider’s perspective on our inaugural tour to the region.

After assembling in Sydney for one night, enjoying a welcome dinner and performance at a major venue, we travel together by private coach to Orange. Orange’s cool climate has led to its development as a significant NSW wine region, and the Festival is timed for both the harvest and the crispness of early autumn. Our tour will include at least 7 performances in a range of venues, from cellar doors and a country estate to a purpose-built modern auditorium. Leading Australian ensembles and international artists perform a varied musical program, including a harp trio, a string quartet and two gala recitals. Thanks to Limelight’s partnership with the Festival, there will also be the opportunity to meet Festival artists at a private event.

Select excursions to highly-regarded local wineries and to the heritage town of Molong round out the experience.. Your tour leader brings the music and the program to life through artist Q&As and informal post-performance conversations, over drinks at your centrally-located hotel.
