Created in consultation with Neil Diamond himself, the jukebox musical, A Beautiful Noise, charts his rise to superstardom through the songs that defined his life and career, among them Cracklin’ Rosie, Forever in Blue Jeans and Sweet Caroline. Famous for his swaggering sexuality and velvet-meets-gravel voice, Diamond is conjured by two different performers – Neil Now, played by Terence Crawford, and Neil Then, played by Will Swenson, who starred in the Broadway production. As Neil Now discusses his career with his therapist, Neil Then brings it to life. The musical arrives in Sydney in November.
