South Australian Clarinets and Saxophones: Adelaide Clarinet & Saxophone Festival 2026
16 August @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm AEST

The Adelaide Clarinet & Saxophone Festival is a celebration of South Australia’s single-reed community, bringing together students, educators, community musicians, and professionals for a weekend of performance, learning, and connection.
Held at Elder Hall on 15-16 August 2026, the festival features gala concerts, masterclasses with leading Australian artists, hands-on workshops, chamber performances, trade displays, and a large-scale massed ensemble experience.
Guest artists include Diana Tolmie and Nick Russoniello, alongside some of South Australia’s finest clarinet and saxophone performers, and the Adelaide Wind Orchestra.
Whether you’re an experienced musician, a student, or simply a lover of live music, the Adelaide Clarinet & Saxophone Festival offers something for everyone, culminating in a spectacular massed ensemble concert featuring the premiere of a newly commissioned work written by Elder Conservatorium student Belle Smibert for the festival.
