Canticum Chamber Choir: Bach’s “Christmas Oratorio”
6 December @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm AEDT

Canticum Chamber Choir and Music Director Emily Cox AM reunite with Stage Director Anatoly Frusin for a reworking of their acclaimed 2020 semi-staged production, with excerpts from JS Bach’s Christmas Oratorio featuring themes of human hardship, migration, hope and wonder. Canticum will be joined by a local orchestra comprising freelance professionals, and soloists Cassandra Barnett (soprano), Beth Allen (alto), Connor Wilmore (tenor) and Leon Warnock (bass).
Join us for a festive new interpretation of this timeless masterpiece in the delightful Old Museum Concert Hall in Bowen Hills. Two performances on the same day ensure you can find a time that suits you.
