Headlined by Vivaldi, Telemann and Handel, this Baroque celebration sees the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra return to its musical roots. Showcasing the talents of the orchestra’s principal musicians including Concertmaster Shaun Lee-Chen, Principal Second Baroque Violin Ben Dollman and Principal Baroque Flute Melissa Farrow, the program includes The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba from Handel’s oratorio Solomon and a concerto for two violins from Vivaldi’s seminal L’estro armonico. Recently appointed Principal Baroque Oboe Adam Masters also performs an Albinoni concerto.
