Melbourne Recital Centre: Sarah Grunstein – Beethoven’s Last Piano Sonatas

27 March @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm AEDT

Praised by The New York Times for her “penetrating musical intelligence”, internationally acclaimed Australian pianist Sarah Grunstein has performed in the United States, Austria, Hungary, Italy, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and her homeland. Reviews have likened her performances to those of Dame Myra Hess, Harold Samuel, and Wanda Landowska. As a Steinway Artist who trained at the Sydney Conservatorium and The Juilliard School, she is a sought-after pianist and educator inspired by historical performance interpretations. She has presented masterclasses in Europe, the USA, New Zealand, and Australia. Passionate about speaking with her audiences pre-performance, Sarah Grunstein returns to Australia in 2024 to perform Beethoven’s transcendent, final three piano sonatas at Melbourne Recital Centre.
