We are delighted to feature in the 2026 Castlemaine State Festival for a special collaboration with the extraordinary Andrea Lam. Fresh from her ARIA win and celebrated role on ABC’s The Piano, Andrea brings a unique blend of passion and intimacy to the stage that we have long admired.

The evening begins with Andrea in her element, performing a selection of solo piano works by Chopin. These poetic offerings set the stage for a powerful transformation as we join her for Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F minor, Op.34. Widely regarded as the “crown” of his chamber music, this masterpiece allows our matched set of Guadagnini instruments to weave seamlessly with the rich, symphonic textures of the piano.
