Victoria Chorale: Coming Home concert

Victoria Chorale presents a rich and diverse program of music at its Coming Home concert, a celebration of the choir’s highly successful European Tour together with the Ballarat Wind Orchestra, the region’s foremost wind ensemble.
Conducted by Joint Musical Director Mario Dobernig, and joined by distinguished guest Mezzo Soprano, Sally-Anne Russell, the program will feature music from Australia and abroad performed by Victoria Chorale on the tour,
Featuring the Australian Premiere of The Two Trees, composed by Victoria Chorale’s award-winning concert pianist, William Schmidt that draws on William Butler Yeats’ famous poem.
Other works include Stabat Mater by Giuseppe Verdi, Gustav Holst’s Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence; nostalgic Australian anthems by Peter Allen; an indigenous-inspired work and more.
A concert that will have something for everyone.
