Violinist Patrick Galvin and pianist Jennifer Hou honour the profound influence of Galvin’s former teacher, Camilla Wicks, through a heartfelt program. The epistolary live performances weave storytelling amongst the works on the album (Sibelius, Chopin, Pärt, Beach) and new repertoire (Higdon, Mazolli, Greenhill) to reflect different aspects of Camilla’s teaching and her lasting impact as an artist, a mentor, and a friend.

This project first emerged during the duo’s Masters degrees at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Galvin and Hou have continued to collaborate on “Dear Camilla,” as well as other programs together across North America and Australia. They will be touring in the UK in July 2026.
