Melbourne Symphony Orchestra: Handel’s Messiah
5 December @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm AEDT

Join the MSO and an all-Australian cast for Handel’s Messiah – a Christmas tradition and must-hear for many concertgoers. Sir James MacMillan leads a deeply-considered performance of a work that has been a staple of our concert season throughout our 120-year history.
Our starring soprano Mia Chenea Robinson is an expert in sacred choral music – and a local Melburnian. She sings alongside mezzo-soprano Stephanie Dillon who has previously conquered the heights of Bach’s St John Passion and Monteverdi’s Vespers. Louis Hurley and David Greco bring their familiar but world-class voices into those deeper-pitched roles of tenor and baritone, while this mammoth-scale Baroque masterpiece will be rounded out with our very own MSO Chorus. Merry Christmas to all!
