26 June @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm AEST

One of the most remarkable cellists on the international stage, Maximilian Hornung, will shine in Haydn’s joyful and elegant Cello Concerto in D.

The night begins with Melody Eötvös’ The Saqqara Bird, which muses on the mystery and wonder inspired by an ancient Egyptian artefact.

Schumann’s Rhenish Symphony ranges from flowing, happy melodies and ceremonial grandeur to a bright and celebratory finale.

Kazakh conductor Alan Buribayev returns after his critically acclaimed TSO debut in 2024.
