IBID is a duo featuring Keyna Wilkins (piano/flute) and Shane Carpini (drumset). Their original music and improvisations blend jazz, classical, and folk, exploring themes from philosophy, astronomy, and human behaviour. Sora-Jackson Duo brings together Ewan, a London-trained guitarist and songwriter, and Mikaela, a Sydney Conservatorium-trained classical pianist. Meeting in Sydney, they merged their backgrounds—moving from jazz standards to original works influenced by impressionism and jazz—creating a dynamic, intimate musical dialogue. It started with Ewan’s seven-year stint in London. After training as a session guitarist and songwriter at the British Institute of Music, he moved to Sydney, Australia. It was here that he met Mikaela, a classical pianist who had graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music that same year. The two fell in love and have been inseparable ever since.
