Melbourne Recital Centre: Katie Noonan – Alone But All One
1 August @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm AEST

To celebrate the release of her 30th studio album, Katie Noonan returns to Melbourne Recital Centre to present Alone But All One.
An intimate and poignant exploration of love in all its stages, the album features Katie’s first songwriting collaboration with acclaimed writer Trent Dalton. A powerful and delicate offering featuring Katie on piano, she is joined by River Suite String Quartet, the perfect accompaniment for her exquisite vocal performance.
“This album is for anyone who’s gone through a life shift – not just separation, but grief, uncertainty, or quiet reinvention.” reveals Katie, “It’s music for sitting with things. For remembering we’re not alone, even in solitude. It’s personal, but I hope it will resonate in a way that becomes collective.”
Alone But All One is a return to something essential.
Stripped back with just Katie, her piano, and a string quartet, Alone But All One was recorded live in her lounge room on Gubbi Gubbi Country in the hills behind Nambour, Queensland.
Feeling like a deep breath before the next chapter, Katie’s creative intention is clear: honour this moment, share it with care, and trust that others will feel themselves in it too.
