Brisbane Powerhouse: Koal
10 July @ 2:00 pm - 3:10 pm AEST

KOAL is an original interactive solo show by Jacinta Yelland, immersing audiences in the heart of the 2019 Australian bushfires.
Through the intertwined stories of a baby koala, a coal miner, and an Indigenous girl, the performance shifts from moments of laughter to deep empathy, revealing what is lost when homes are erased.
Combining documentary theatre and clowning, KOAL is a moving exploration of resilience, loss, and the fight to protect our shared world for future generations.
