Following her sold out tour-de-force performances in 2023 and at Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2024, the highly anticipated return of Dame Lisa Simone to Australia is coming in 2026, to reprise the iconic classics of her mother, Dr Nina Simone, as only she can.

Lisa Simone’s voice and stage prowess has not only earned her worldwide recognition, but practically every accolade, including Oscar-nominations, Emmy and Peabody Awards, two-time Grammy nominations, starring roles on Broadway, and chart-topping albums.

She premiered the Disney roles of Aida (Aida) and Nala (The Lion King) and won the “National Broadway Theatre Award for Best Actress in a Musical” for her leading role in Aida’s First National Tour. A member of the original Broadway cast of Rent, she subsequently headed its First National Tour in the role of Mimi Marquez and was nominated for both the Helen Hayes Award and Jefferson Award for her performance.
