Celebrating its 31st anniversary, the Queer Screen Mardi Gras Film Festival returns with 166 films over 16 days, promising a vibrant mix of genres. From 15–29 February, enjoy screenings in Sydney, with an on-demand encore nationwide from 1–11 March.

Highlights include the British thriller Femme and Australian gem Housekeeping for Beginners as opening and closing galas, respectively. World premieres like A Portrait of Love and In The Room Where He Waits and Blue Lights offer fresh perspectives.

Australian talents shine in Sunflower and Sahela, as well as Music from Queer Film performed by the Sydney Cello Quartet at the Sydney Opera House. There is also a special screening of All of us Strangers at the Westpac Open Air Cinema as well as many other events sure to spark conversation.
