NSW Doctors Orchestra: Mendelssohn Magic
24 May @ 9:00 pm AEST

Join the NSW Doctors Orchestra for their 2026 fundraising concert, Mendelssohn Magic, at the Verbrugghen Hall on Sunday, 24th May.
The program ignites with the fiery energy of Georges Bizet’s Prelude and Aragonaise from Carmen, followed by the evocative and triumphant Fully Free by Australian composer Catherine Likhuta. The heart of the performance features Felix Mendelssohn’s iconic Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64, showcasing the brilliant Teresa Yang, recipient of the NSWDO Instrumental Scholarship. To conclude, the orchestra will delve into the mystery and emotion of Edward Elgar’s beloved Enigma Variations.
All proceeds directly supporting the Prader-Willi Research Foundation Australia and Sydney Eisteddfod. The NSW Doctors Orchestra is a volunteer-led charity organization comprised of doctors and medical students from across NSW who come together to perform in aid of causes in medicine and the arts.
