Nightingale Performing Arts: Mina’s Kadō (華道)
6 June @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm AEST

Nightingale Performing Arts Australia is proud to present Mina’s Kadō (華道), a solo piano program by Australian Music Prize and APRA Music Award nominated Korean-Australian pianist and composer Mina Yu, inspired by the Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy.
Mina Yu’s performance is combined with storytelling, surrounding artwork and ambient field recordings of everyday life, forming a gentle, multi-sensory environment.
Works from Mina Yu’s album A Day and Life are presented alongside music by influential Asian composers including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Joe Hisaishi and Jung Jae-il (Parasite), tracing a shared sensitivity to space, fragility, and restraint.
