: Music4CanAssist: A Fundraising Concert with Simon Tedeschi and Co
28 February @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm AEDT

Join the Bowral community for a special evening of music in support of Can Assist, an organisation providing vital assistance to regional families undergoing cancer treatment in the Southern Highlands. From travel support and medication costs to practical care, Can Assist reduces the inequities that distance creates in accessing treatment.
The concert unfolds in distinct curated sets by Wollongong-born singers Molly Stewart and Olive Cullen, alongside award-winning pianist Simon Tedeschi, culminating in Ronan Apcar’s ‘A Children’s Hymn’. Presented at Wollongong Town Hall in 2025, the program was praised by Calvin Abdiel in ClassikON as “a musical journey that combined personal identification, theatrical flair, and cross-generational dialogue.” Moving effortlessly from poetic lyricism to jaunty wit and reflection, this is a concert suitable for all ages. Master of Ceremonies will be Australian actor Dean Carey.
Artist fees are supported by local sponsorship, enabling all ticket proceeds to go directly to Can Assist.
