ARIA-nominated Nat Bartsch makes her Count’s debut with her searing jazz quartet.
Nat Bartsch is a critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning jazz and classical pianist and composer. Her meditative, lyrical music defies the conventions of genre and deeply resonates, often in profoundly personal moments. Nat’s quartet brings this music to life with extraordinary sensitivity, lyricism and emotion.
An accomplished recording artist, she has released eight albums of original music as a solo artist and as bandleader for the Nat Bartsch Trio. She has toured Australia, Japan and Europe, performing at major venues including Hamer Hall and Melbourne Recital Centre. She has performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, toured Europe with Abdullah Ibrahim’s Ekaya and has had two compositions in ABC Classic’s Classic 100: Piano Countdown.
