Chicago, 1924. Two brilliant young men, Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, believe themselves above the world. Entitled, reckless, and hungry to prove their superiority, they commit a crime that shocks a nation.

Beneath the headlines lies something far more intimate: a dark and serpentine love story between two men whose desire curdles into domination.

Never the Sinner exposes the birth of a kind of masculine power we still recognise today, privilege mistaken for brilliance, arrogance disguised as confidence, and love twisted into control.

Directed by Kurtis Laing (tick, tick …BOOM!, Selkie), this true story examines the devastating consequences of unchecked privilege for the victims, the perpetrators, and the society that continues to let them thrive.
