Dots + Loops: Nonstop 2026
5 December @ 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm AEST

Wielding a cello, powerhouse vocals, and magnetic energy, Monique Clare teams up with Dots+Loops Performance Fellows for a set of deeply personal storytelling. Grammy-Award-winning flautist Tim Munro breathes life into bewildering multimedia works composed meditating on the transitory and transformative, including the Australian Premiere of Chris Cerrone’s Liminal Highway. Arrernte-Afro-Jamaican multidisciplinary artist SOLCHLD and Callum Pask Trio present Scarred and Sacred, their album blending poetry and jazz. Dots+Loops Performance Fellows return alongside multi-instrumentalist Matt Hsu’s Obscure Orchestra, weaving together the warmth of bedroom pop, hip-hop’s conscious punch, and the wild spark of experimental music. Mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean brings the night to its climax with Voice Electric, exploring the vivid colours of the amplified human voice, featuring works by Connor D’Netto, Giacinto Scelsi, Erin Gee, and Mathis Saunier. Throughout the night, Made Now Music takeover the Underground Foyer with a selection of artists to keep the party humming along.
