Sydney Opera House: OMCA: Anniversary X
6 September @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm AEST

The Russian Orthodox Male Choir of Australia (ROMCA) marks its 10th anniversary with a momentous concert in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall – a milestone event for the ensemble and the wider Slavic community in Australia. Over the past decade, ROMCA has inspired audiences across continents, earning international acclaim for its profound choral resonance and the rare presence of three of the world’s lowest voices (oktavists).
Under the distinguished direction of its founder, Nektary Kotlaroff, the choir will be joined by the ROMCA 10 Year Anniversary Orchestra – a handpicked collective of Australia’s finest musicians – in a majestic performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.
