On Friday 14 August, some of Melbourne’s legal profession’s musically gifted members and friends take to the stage for Overtures—an intimate evening of classical works by Australian composers including Anna Cawrse, Joseph Twist, Jessica Wells, Hugh Crosthwaite, Jason Pizer and Jonathan Xian. Every ticket supports Dost—an incorporated association that helps resettle refugee families in Melbourne to support its next refugee family. Dost operates under the umbrella of Community Refugee Support Australia. A night of beautiful music, and for one family, a new beginning. Tickets include drinks and canapés from 6-7pm.
