Australian National Academy of Music: Richard Tognetti – Central Park in the Dark
25 June @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm AEST

In the first of two concerts during his residency at ANAM, superstar violinist Richard Tognetti brings together the fascinating sound worlds of American composers Charles Ives and Ruth Crawford-Seeger, alongside a current new voice in Australian music, Alex Turley, and the sumptuous late-Romantic sounds of Arnold Schoenberg’s early masterpiece Verklärte Nacht. Together with the ANAM Orchestra in the beautiful St Kilda Town Hall, this thought-provoking concert considers the notion of the human experience through complex and rich harmonic language and the exploration of instrumental textures.
Special Offer! A 5% discount applies when purchasing tickets to 2 ANAM Orchestra concerts at St Kilda Town Hall, and a 10% discount applies when purchasing tickets to all 3 St Kilda Town Hall concerts.
