Bionic bebop meets jazzy jives.

The brilliant Black Square Quartet jam with the accomplished saxophonist, clarinettist, improvisor and composer Martin Kay, who fires up his horns for a genre-defying late-night rollercoaster ride of tremendous tunes and suave sounds.

Featuring three works from prolific Brisbane composer Robert Davidson including a world premiere written for Festival Co-Artistic Director Monica Curro, amongst sizzling swing, cool jazz, and sonic cameo appearances by three “Elvis impersonators” and the Sugar Plum Fairy – this show will send you off crooning and grooving into the night!
