Up-and-coming pianist-composer Liam Furey presents their curated recital Seek and you will find at Tempo Rubato. This program is a celebration of compositions which seek to explore novel ideas, something that inspires Liam’s artistic practice.

The first half is an evocation of New Zealand birdsong from three New Zealand composers, including a work by Liam themself. The second half explores the range between spontaneous experimentation and rigorous experimentation, from Frescobaldi and Chaminade, to Ligeti’s iconic Musica Ricercata.
