Fremantle Chamber Orchestra: Sibelius Violin Concerto with Ellie Malonzo

Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Paul Wright, presents Albicastro: Concerto a quattro & basso continuo in C, a lost Baroque jewel, Haydn’s uplifting Symphony 94 “Surprise” and Sibelius’s sublime Violin Concerto, the height of Romanticism, featuring fabulous 16-year-old violinist Ellie Malonzo.
Ellie Malonzo has won 11 first prizes at international competitions and performed in the USA, Vienna, Canada, London, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane. John Keen, FCO’s Principal Conductor: ‘I find myself realising every now and then that I am working with someone so young whose maturity, technical skill, and superb ear and musical sensibility belies her years as both performer and composer’.
