City of Perth: Songs from the Six Seasons with Dr Richard Walley
10 July @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm AWST

Songs from the Six Seasons with Dr Richard Walley
Featuring Junkadelic Collective and special guest Adriel Opum
Join us for a truly unique performance this NAIDOC week with Noongar Elder, performer, artist and musician Dr Richard Walley OAM, sharing the story of the six Noongar Seasons: Makuru, Djilba, Kambarang, Birok, Bunuru and Djeran.
With Richard on didgeridoo, Junkadelic Collective and special guest Adriel Opum on vocals, the concert is a collection of original songs using different musical genres to tell the Six Seasons story, including Blues, Choral, Jazz, Reggae, Funk, Rock and Hip-hop.
A mix of storytelling, instrumental and vocals, this performance is a celebration of our place in the world, the South-Western corner of Australia, and the knowledge and culture that has existed here for tens of thousands of years.
