Darwin Symphony Orchestra: Songs of the Season
5 December @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm ACST

Celebrate the magic of the Northern Territory’s seasons with DSO’s joyful end-of-year concert. From the frogs of Kakadu to the summer rains of Darwin, this program captures the sounds of renewal, wonder, and festivity.
Hear the calls of Frog Voices/Frog Songs and the world premiere of Netanela Mizrahi’s I, Rain, where young voices and orchestra bring to life the healing spirit of the wet season. Be swept away by the enchantment of Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel and
the shimmering colours of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Christmas Eve Suite.
To finish, the orchestra rings in the season with Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and a garland of carols sung by Vocalective – the perfect way to share the joy of music with family and friends.
