The Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival, Inc.: The 2026 Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival
17 July - 19 July

This July, the 2026 Stradbroke Chamber Music Festival returns to Point Lookout on beautiful North Stradbroke Island, just a short ferry ride from Brisbane across Moreton Bay.
Artistic Director Rachel Smith has again crafted a six-concert program that balances the familiar with the unexpected, and the traditional with the contemporary. A distinctive, pre-festival, rehearsal residency gathers leading Australian and international artists (including Sonya Lifschitz, Lotte Betts-Dean, Afonso Fesch, Margarida Castro) to form the various instrumental and vocal ensembles each concert requires. The result is a cohesive, three-day, musical journey with palpable rapport among performers and between performers and audience, a rapport that enriches every concert experience.
Beyond the music, Stradbroke offers exceptional natural attractions, including world-class surfing and scenic beach and bush walks, with opportunities to spot kangaroos, koalas and migrating whales.
Register via the festival website to receive festival updates and ticket notifications (available soon through 4MBS).
