Ensemble Trivium: The Lark
9 August @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm AEST

Ensemble Trivium returns to the beautiful Elm House for its fourth season or another uplifting and engaging afternoon of chamber music.
The concert opens with Haydn’s much-loved Lark Quartet, a work brimming with charm, joy and sparkling melodies. It is followed by the world premiere of The Cardinal Number, a new terzetto for flute, violin and viola by Australian composer Lee Bradshaw, specially commissioned by Ensemble Trivium.
To conclude, the ensemble presents Prokofiev’s lyrical and elegant Flute Sonata in D major, newly arranged for flute and string quartet by Lee Bradshaw. This imaginative reworking brings fresh colours to one of Prokofiev’s most beloved chamber works.
A program of something old, something new and something reimagined, this promises to be a memorable musical experience.
Book early—only 65 tickets are available. Complimentary afternoon tea, baked by the musicians, will be served after the concert.
