Theatre Royal: The Nuts Cracker
3 December @ 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm AEDT

Get ready for a lesson you’ll never forget! The Bawdy Panto team returns to the Theatre Royal for another year of relentless puns, political roasts, and local satire with their latest masterpiece: The Nuts Cracker!
Forget sugar plum fairies—this year we’re taking a cheeky look at the Tasmanian education system. Meet the idealistic (and perpetually broke) Clara Fication and her Principal, the formidable Dame Edna Kation, as they defend Chigwell Primary from a corporate takeover. The villainous Vice-Chancellor Ratus is on a mission to seize the fabled Golden Nuts of Knowledge to fund his shiny, windowless “Booniversity” tower in the heart of the CBD.
Can our heroes, including the very stiff (and possibly termite-infested) Prince Sandy, protect their nuts from being liquidated? Or will the school playground be sold to the AFL for a stadium before recess is over?
