Vivaldi captured four seasons. Noongar Country holds six.

The Six Seasons is a landmark new work of six concertos by Noongar composer Aaron Wyatt and six new poems by poet Gina Williams AM, performed by Australian Baroque with violin soloist Helen Kruger, in collaboration with West Australian Opera. The work traces the Noongar seasons of the south-west — Birak, Bunuru, Djeran, Makuru, Djilba and Kambarang — as heat gathers, rain arrives, and the land transforms.

This is not Vivaldi translated. It’s a joyous meeting of cultures & traditions that creates something deeply meaningful, emotional & beautiful.
