In September, ABC Classic’s concert schedule showcases the extraordinary range of music-making taking place at the BBC Proms. Concerts from Nicola Benedetti, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s Monteverdi Choir are sure to be good listening, and the ever-popular Last Night of the Proms – this year featuring Stuart Skelton – is always a treat. 

Closer to home there are some superb concerts from our state orchestras, Opera Australia’s stunning Ernani, and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra’s sumptuous Higher Angels.
