Darwin Festival 2025 is set to ignite the Top End with an 18-day extravaganza from 7–24 August. Without doubt Australia’s hottest winter arts festival (with average daytime temperatures hovering around 30C), this annual event transforms the city into a vibrant hub of music, theatre, visual art, dance, cabaret and comedy.
The festival’s opening weekend takes place at the newly introduced Fort Hill Parklands in the Darwin Waterfront Precinct. On Friday, 8 August, Australian music icon Guy Sebastian takes to the stage. New Zealand’s electrifying reggae-blues-soul stars L.A.B. play on 9 August. Supporting acts will showcase national stars and local talent.
The iconic Spiegeltent is back, this time on Darwin’s Sitzler Festival Lawn, offering a smorgasbord of world-class variety acts in La Ronde. After a dazzling debut at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe, this international grand variété promises jaw-dropping performances in a decadent European-style setting from 31 July to 23 August.
