Seriously stellar cast features Aussie theatrical legends alongside fresh musical talent.

Producers John Frost and Opera Australia’s Lyndon Terracini have announced a seriously star-studded line-up for their new production of Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady directed by Julie Andrews.

British actor Alex Jennings, one of the most respected stage and film actors of his generation, will play the egocentric Professor Henry Higgins opposite Australian rising musical theatre star, Anna O’Byrne, as Eliza Doolittle. Three-time Olivier Award-winner Jennings will be well known to Australian audiences having played Prince Charles in the 2006 film The Queen and most recently playing Alan Bennett in Lady in the Van opposite Maggie Smith.

He is no stranger to the role, having won an Olivier as Henry Higgins directed by Trevor Nunn back in 2003 at London’s National Theatre.
