SeasonPreview: Your guide to the arts in 2025

With more than 150 concerts and collaborations in store, the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) has announced its 2025 program.

This year, says Artistic Director Paavali Jumppanen, the theme is ‘tuning in’ as the season turns its gaze to the Baroque, Classical, modernist and the 20th and 21st century avant-garde.

“A recent guest visitor to ANAM said, ‘today, we need to realise that music is more than just entertainment,’ and how right she was!” said Jumppanen.

“For in all the music we learn, play, and listen to we are dealing with, and tuning in to much more. We invite audiences to join us in this pursuit to tune in to the sounds of meaning and beauty, and to the springs of humanity.”
