The Australian Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF) has announced its 2025 lineup, to be hosted in Launceston, Tasmania from 21–25 May.
The fifth edition of the Festival sees a new flagship collaboration as its headliner when, on 24 May, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra joins the festival lineup to perform Some Enchanted Evening, a program of hits from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim and more. The orchestra will perform with international musical theatre star Caroline O’Connor as well as Australian musicians Alinta Chidzey and Mark Vincent, all under the beloved baton of Guy Noble.

“The addition of the TSO takes the festival to new levels and is a pinnacle event in a program that encompasses five days, many venues, a range of engagements with many of our greatest stars and emerging talent, all set alongside an international city of gastronomy that serves the best food and wine I know,” said AMTF Artistic Director Tyran Parke.
