The Australian Production Design Guild (APDG) has announced the winners of its 2025 Awards, recognising outstanding work in feature film, television, live performance and events.

The ceremony was held at the State Library of NSW on Saturday 16 August. Around 70 designers and associates were nominated across 20 categories.

Guest presenters included Create NSW executive director Kerri Glasscock, Powerhouse senior curator Keinton Butler and designer Nick Schlieper, recently nominated for a Tony Award for The Picture of Dorian Gray.

David Fleischer won two awards: the Jennie Tate Costume Design Award for his work on the Sydney Chamber Opera/Opera Australia production Gilgamesh at Carriageworks, and the Multi-Discipline Design Award for Fangirls at the Lyric Hammersmith in London.

Other winners included Keerthi Subramanyam, who received the Set Design Award for Nayika: A Dancing Girl at Belvoir St Theatre; Paul Jackson, who won the Lighting Design Award for Rusalka with Opera Queensland and Opera Australia; and Craig Wilkinson, who took the Video Design Award for Dracula at Sydney Theatre Company.
